They/them, he/him
I'm a queer trans non-binary disabled therapist of color. I work with adolescents, individual adults, and caregivers of gender diverse children. I tend to see LGBTQIA+ people of color, neurodiverse folks, and creatives/artists (with overlap of these identities). Sometimes the primary part of our work is navigating a world that wasn't designed for intersecting differences; sometimes it's an entry point to exploring additional challenges such as grief and loss, relationship challenges, internalized oppression and marginalized group trauma, caretaking tendencies, and perfectionism.
While I am trained in different therapy approaches, I focus primarily on early childhood relationships, storytelling practices, and body work. Our therapy can be a place to:
- explore complex feelings
- build a supportive relationship with uncertainty
- learn about unhelpful patterns and where they came from
- reclaim sacred stories
- release trauma from the body
- heal from shame
All of this happens in a safe, affirming, and supportive environment. Through this process, I support clients with arriving at a more compassionate, empowered, and aligned sense of self.
