I see clients in Washington state (LMFT #LF61640315)
Whatever the reason you are here, welcome. I'm glad that you are taking steps toward prioritizing you and your health. I believe that we all deserve health, happiness, and aliveness, and that therapy can be a part of that journey.
I practice from a feminist, queer, and trauma-informed lens and work with individuals and partners of all types. I am a sexual health educator and advocate and support clients from a sex-positive, gender-inclusive, kink-aware perspective, working with all relationship styles, including polyamory and consensual non-monogamy. Social justice and cultural humility inform my practice and it's important for me to continue to work with those in marginalized communities.
I have lived in the Seattle area for almost twenty years; however, my roots are in small-town Texas. As a queer woman who came out as an adult, I know what it is to work through the shame-based religious and cultural influences of my childhood. My experiences also include living in Mexico and traveling throughout Latin America and Spain for two years. For the last three years, I have provided therapy to the Spanish-speaking immigrant population through my work in community mental health.
I enjoy jumping into cold bodies of water, road trips and traveling the world, spending time with my chosen family, singing and songwriting, and building art.
