Sienna Forest

(she/her)

I believe that every person carries the potential to heal and grow from the challenges of life. We are all experts in our own lives, and my job as your therapist is to help guide and support you on your path toward reconciling past and present in order to create a better future. Healing blossoms from connection, collaboration, compassion, and the courage to explore our innermost selves. I love working with adolescents, young adults, couples, and polycules. As someone who identifies as non-monogamous, I am dedicated to providing therapy to the CNM community because I know firsthand the struggles and joys of this relationship style.

I am passionate about offering alternative therapy that moves away from the hierarchical model towards a more egalitarian, client-centered approach. I offer hiking and climbing therapy or teletherapy, and I strive to be sex/kink-positive and gender-inclusive. I work through the lens of relational-cultural theory and often use somatic therapy techniques.

In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing, trail running, deep conversations with friends, and getting lost in a meditative art project.

I am currently offering therapeutic climbing groups for teenagers at Agility Boulders, located in Capitola, California. If you are interested in learning more about these groups, please visit siennaforesttherapy.com.
