(she/they)
Do you ever feel like an outsider no matter where you are? Have you ever felt like you can't be your whole self? Perhaps you are overwhelmed by life in these troubling times and are feeling stuck. You only have to take the first step alone. Once we connect, I will be with you in your journey. No matter how troubling, terrifying, or confusing the world is, I will help you make your way through life. You may have anxiety, depression, or the feeling of being lost and rudderless. You may be suffering from trauma, experiencing suicidal ideation, struggling in your relationships, or grappling with grief. You might be okay and just want to use therapy to explore your selfhood, proactively take care of your mental health, or build a good foundation for your relationship(s). I am here for you.
I believe in a person-centred, psychodynamic, humanistic approach to psychotherapy. I hold deep and genuine empathy and regard for my clients and accept them as they are without judgement. I can help you examine how your inner conflicts and past experiences influence your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We can work together to help you understand your place in the universe. I will help you set therapy goals: building effective coping skills, processing trauma, taking care of your loved ones and yourself in troubling times, and more.
